Drivers Ready for the 11 AM ET Race on NBC and Peacock

Chip Ganassi Racing Continues Dominance

INDIANAPOLIS (May 21, 2023) – For the third consecutive year, a Chip Ganassi Racing driver will start from the pole position at the Indianapolis 500. This year, it will be Scott Dixon, who won the pole with a four-lap average speed of 234.046 mph.

Dixon will be joined on the front row by Team Penske's Josef Newgarden and Andretti Autosport's Colton Herta.

The second row will consist of Chip Ganassi Racing's Alex Palou, AJ Foyt Enterprises' Dalton Kellett, and Team Penske's Will Power.

The third row will feature Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing's Graham Rahal, Ed Carpenter Racing's Conor Daly, and Meyer Shank Racing's Simon Pagenaud.

The fourth row will consist of Arrow McLaren SP's Pato O'Ward, Carlin's Max Chilton, and Dale Coyne Racing with HMD Motorsports' Takuma Sato.

The fifth row will feature Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing's Jack Harvey, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing's Santino Ferrucci, and Juncos Hollinger Racing's Callum Ilott.

The sixth row will consist of Team Penske's Scott McLaughlin, A.J. Foyt Enterprises' Kyle Kirkwood, and Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport's Devlin DeFrancesco.

The seventh row will feature Chip Ganassi Racing's Tony Kanaan, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing's Sage Karam, and Dale Coyne Racing with HMD Motorsports' David Malukas.

The eighth row will consist of Ed Carpenter Racing's Rinus VeeKay, Paretta Autosport's Simona De Silvestro, and Juncos Hollinger Racing's Benjamin Pedersen.

The ninth row will feature Arrow McLaren SP's Alexander Rossi, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing's Christian Lundgaard, and Dale Coyne Racing with HMD Motorsports' Stefan Wilson.

The tenth row will consist of Team Penske's Helio Castroneves, A.J. Foyt Enterprises' Benjamin Pedersen, and Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport's Kyle Kirkwood.

The 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 will take place on Sunday, May 26, at 11 AM ET on NBC and Peacock.
